The 15 Minute Diet and Exercise Program is a physical health coaching method based on knowledge of our human origins, the archaeology of past hunter-gatherers, the ethnography of existing hunter-gatherer lifeways, the science of nutrition, and the mistakes of ancient civilizations and modern industrial societies in the pursuit of optimal, natural living.
Reconstruction of a Native American site based on excavations near the Pequabuck River in Plymouth, Connecticut. The painting represents a fall camp site from about 4,000 years ago, where occupants engage in multiple tasks using upper and lower body strength. Six major food groups are also represented by the camp fire and surroundings, including meat (turkey), legumes (wild beans), whole grain (goosefoot), leafy green vegetables (dandelion leaves), fruit (blueberries), and animal byproduct (bone marrow). Painting by James Alexander Walwer, 2025.
